Everything smelled like a fresh ash tray and felt dirty. We would never stay there again even if they paid us. We were very happy to leave first thing in the morning! The one night stay was close to $500 total. We knew we were gong to have a few drinks, otherwise we would not have stayed. We had tickets for a show that was a lot of fun. We discovered all of this after waiting in line for 45 minutes to check-in. The hallway smelled and looked worse than our room.
Slept with the windows open (in December). We could open the windows so that helped a little bit. The decor is as the promo photos show but what you do not see is the cigarette burn hole in the cushion of the bay window, really dirty windows, the black soot (or something) on the vent in the bathroom, and the smell. We had a feeling it was going to be bad after getting an email the day (or two) prior to check-in with an offer - for $38 you can upgrade to smoke free room if its available. One word to describe our thoughts on this hotel - Gross.
